Friends of Queer History maintains the Queer History Event Calendar, to which you may add your own queer history related events. Added events are moderated before being published on the calendar.

Queer History Month

Queer History Month is celebrated annually in Finland in November. The aim is to examine Finnish history and culture from an LGBTQIA+ perspective, and to record this as part of our common cultural heritage. During Queer History Month, queer history and cultural heritage may be exhibited in public museums, libraries, and cultural institutions, as well as privately. Queer History Month is a set of events that are open to everyone, and may be participated in by organizing an exhibition or event, presenting queer history, writing about queer history, or by using social media with the hashtags #sateenkaarihistoriakuukausi #queerhistoriskmånad #queerhistorymonth.

Queer History Month events will be listed in the Event Calendar.
