The criminalization of sex between women in the Finnish Parliament in 1888

Matti P. Pulkkinen, who is finishing his doctoral thesis in church history at Åbo Akademi, will give a lecture on the topic “The criminalization of sex between women in the Finnish Parliament in 1888.” In his work, he provides an analysis of the factors contributing to the eventual criminalization.

The lecture can be listened to remotely on Monday, September 21st, from 4-5 p.m. Helsinki time. The lecture will not be recorded.
